Agostine is a Kenyan born graduate of Amherst College where he studied Political Science and Black Studies.

Starting out as a staff recruiter at Ashoka’s global headquarters in Washington DC, he moved back to Kenya in 2013 to manage the Ashoka Fellow selection process in East Africa. Thereafter, Agostine was tasked with recruiting, training, and managing startup teams in five African cities as the Regional Incubation Lead for Impact Hub Network.

As the Program Manager for the annual Sankalp Africa Summit, Agostine worked with a multinational team to convene over 1,000 stakeholders in the African social enterprise and impact investing ecosystem. All these experiences have enabled him to cultivate a deep and broad understanding of the challenges startups and SMEs face across the continent.

Agostine is deeply passionate about cross-cultural communication as a key pillar of management in a globalized world. An avowed Pan-Africanist, he believes that Africa's moment is now.
